On it everyone you love, everyone you know, everyone you ever heard of, every human being who ever was, lived out their lives.

Boy! Carl Sagan sure did write a magnificent piece there! It's even more breath-taking when you watch the corresponding video with Carl reciting his quote in tandem.

Carl does allude to "thousands of confident religions" haha, and if you knew me well, you'd know I'm a believer in Christ. You'd also know that I'm also a science enthusiast, so I can understand Carl's skeptical tone :D.
